Awareness & Promotion

Awareness and promotion of entrepreneurship activities at the Eller College, the University of Arizona, and beyond is fostered in a number of ways:

UA Industry Work Group
The UA Industry Work Group is a university-wide working group coordinated through the Office of Corporate Relations. It serves as a coordination point for the UA's broad array of relationships with the business community.

IdeaFunding & Tech Oasis
The McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship is an active supporter of key organizations focused on entrepreneurial growth in Arizona, including IdeaFunding and Tech Oasis.

Hispanic Serving Institution
The McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship is dedicated to a continued focus on the cultural and ethnic heritage of Southern Arizona and the University's Hispanic Serving Institution goals.

Anheuser-Busch Entrepreneur in Residence
The McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship annually recognizes at least one accomplished entrepreneur as the Anheuser-Busch Entrepreneur-in-Residence.

Entrepreneurial Fellows
The McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship also annual recognizes individuals who are accomplished entrepreneurs in Arizona, in order to increase the appreciation and understanding of the role that entrepreneurs play in the growth of the state and the nation.

Intern Program
The Entrepreneurship Intern Program at the McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship is one of the most successful pedagogical innovations developed here.

Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame
The Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame was established in 1998 to formally recognize the significant achievements and contributions of alumni and associates of the McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship.

Distinguished Alumni
Graduate and undergraduate alumni of the McGuire Entrepreneurship Program have distingusished themselves in industries and in innovation across the spectrum of opportunity—learn more about featured alumni.
