David is an experienced non-profit professional with a successful track record in cultivating partnerships in support of innovative education projects. Currently, at the McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship, David works on a variety of special projects including:

  • Go To Market Initiative: 

A cross-campus partnership with the University of Arizona's College of Engineering and Yuma Center of Excellence for Desert Agriculture to launch commercializable aerial pollination technologies

  • McGuire Mexico Scholars:

A four-month women's entrepreneurship training in Nogales, Mexico sponsored by the U.S. Department of State

  • Bear Down & Pitch:

An annual student pitch competition providing McGuire students the opportunity to showcase their business ventures to exclusive investors and influential stakeholders in the Phoenix entrepreneurship ecosystem

  • Bob Lusch Lecture Series:

A bi-annual convening, attracting guest speakers to discuss engaging intellectual topics in the innovative spirit of founding Director of the McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship, Bob Lusch 

Before joining McGuire, David worked for the Clinton Global Initiative and Institute for International Education where he collaborated with a variety of CEOs, NGOs, foundation leaders, and philanthropists to support social impact campaigns around the world. David worked on initiatives led by notable figures, such as:

Prior to that, David taught English to over 600 schoolchildren in Suwon, South Korea.
