ENTR 485: Innovating: Creating the Future

Greg Watson received his MBA in Business Administration (Management) from the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign. He is an adjunct lecturer at the McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship, Eller School of Management, at the University of Arizona. Professor Watson’s interests include global entrepreneurship, dynamic consumer behavior and omnichannel innovation. As an entrepreneur, he has started numerous enterprises, raised venture capital, invests in and advises numerous startups and has been described by academic colleagues as a serial entrepreneur.  He retired at 42 to start teaching in higher education after starting various entrepreneurial enterprises, working in the legislature for the appropriations committee, and as the research director for various public policy think tanks. He has consulted with large and small enterprises including work for Caterpillar in China and remains actively engaged in entrepreneurship and innovation today.
