Connect Coworking: A Tucson Collaborative Workspace
Connect Coworking, a collaborative workspace in the Historic Rialto Building in downtown Tucson, awards up to four students with 6 months of free workspace at the Flock level of membership ($450/mo for a total value of $10,800) upon graduation from the McGuire Program. The winning students are chosen via review of their final business plans, as well as their performance in the McGuire New Venture Competition and Showcase. This award provides several benefits to the teams, including 24/7 full access to the space and technology, the ability to work alongside other enterprises and professionals and the ability to continue working with other McGuire graduates. Additionally, Connect supports the students’ new ventures through promotion on the website, social networks and email newsletters.

Arizona Center for Innovation (AzCI)
The McGuire New Venture Development Program works closely with the Arizona Center for Innovation (AzCI), a University of Arizona sponsored business incubator. Select McGuire teams participate in AzCI’s annual PitchDay, where they have the opportunity to pitch their new ventures to potential investors and gain exposure and visibility with incubator organizations, angel investors and venture capital firms from around the state and region.
